Meet the sisters!

It was so fun to watch and hear Frances visit her baby sister for the first time! She climbed right up on my bed and wanted to hold her. She said "did the doctor take her out?" Obviously! She wanted to unwrap her because she was hard to see all bundled up. Then she asked if she could hold her with "two hands". Not a problem. She did the mommy bounce and pat like a pro!

After that Frances was ready to go check out the room and then she was pretty much ready to go back to playing with Mamaw Bev, Brayden, and Bailey. She knew they were waiting for her at McDonalds with the slide and that is a pretty fun thing when you are 3 1/2! I am so extremely thankful to Dionne and her family for helping with Frances while we are in the hospital! It feels so wonderful knowing she wants to return to them! I just hope she is sleeping soundly right now (it is almost 4 am) and that she wants to come see me again tomorrow!

As for us at the hospital...I know I should be sleeping but I just finished feeding Delaney and I really wanted to get this updated so I am working on the computer while baby and daddy are both sleeping nearby. She is such a good baby so far! I've read that their true temperment doesn't really emerge until days 3-5 but so far I am enjoying it! She barely cries and is easily soothed by simply wrapping her up more. She is a great eater and sleeper too. I sent her to the nursery around 11 and was able to sleep until 2 when they broght her in to eat. She was awake but just wanted to hang out with mom for awhile, she wasn't even hungry right away! Then, once she ate...right back to sleep! Amazing!

I am doing very well! I have not felt any real pain so far, only mild discomfort and I don't know that I would even call it that. The worst I have experienced is hot flashes with one medication that I won't take again. I just had my catheder taken out! yeah! I have gotten out of bed and went for a walk earlier and that went really well too! I am looking forward to taking a shower in the morning. That is all for now as I should sleep. Thanks for all your prayers!

Congratulations on your two beautiful girls. Frances looks like such a big girl holding her baby sister. I'm glad to hear everything is so positive!
